Joey Zaza’s (2023)
Re-branding / Packaging Design
Joey Zaza is a cafe located in Perth CBD, selling delicious sandwiches based on a combination of Italian & Vietnamese fusion. This project was suggested by the owner while I worked at this place.
This branding was done for their pizza shop under the same name as ‘Joey Zaza’s’. In addition to maintaining the existing colour palette, we evaluated pizza oil vulnerabilities and created a design that complements them.
“ Working as a barista was one of the best job that you can experience. ”
Every morning, I met lots of people through my barista job. Working as a barista was amazing to gain experience and communicate with other people.
Hearing their stories and getting to know them helped me to improve on my design skills as well.
“ Julia, can you design our future pizza shop? :) ”
One day, the manager suggested a packaging design for his pizza restaurant based on the existing design used in the cafe.
“ Yes, that sounds fun :) ”
